This beautiful little girl and her Mommy came to visit yesterday and although she's only 8 days old, this baby girl was VERY nosey :) We finally managed to get her nice and sleepy and we got some great pictures:

Sweet Baby J ~ Niagara Wedding and Lifestyle Photography

How lucky am I, especially lately? I've had some of the sweetest newborns ever in my studio over the past couple of weeks and while not an easy task sometimes, I so enjoy photographing these new babies and "their over the moon excited" parents!
At 12 days old, this sweet girl gave me a bit of a run for my money for the first little while but we finally tired her out long enough to get some sleepy shots too:

What a fun theme this week at I Heart Faces! To be honest, I wasn't sure at first if I had a decent entry for this week but then I realized that one of my very favorite father-daughter moments EVER captured at a wedding was this one:







The basis of my photography is all about telling a story with my photos...I think this photo speaks volumes :)

A Busy Valentine's Weekend! ~ Niagara Wedding and Lifestyle Photography

I hope everyone enjoyed this past Valentine's Day weekend. Myself, I had an amazing weekend, both spending time with my husband and kids and also, taking some pics of some really awesome families :) Here's some of what I've captured in the last few days:

Violet & Fam ~ Niagara Wedding and Lifestyle Photography

Adorable Violet and her Mommy & Daddy came to see me today a friend/client of mine and I was so happy to meet them! I think Violet got pretty upset with me for trying to put her in a flower pot for a shot I wanted to do and things kind of went a little downhill after that, BUT, we did manage to get some super cute shots of her before and after that little incident:

Sweet Baby Zoe ~ Niagara Wedding and Lifestyle Photography

Zoe and her mommy came to see me today, just 4 days after Zoe came into this world. I couldn't believe how bright eyed this sweet girl was and how chunky her sweet little cheeks were! She's definitely a Mommy's girl and we managed to get some really great pictures along the way:

Zoe was joined by Tyson and his Mommy who have been frequent clients of mine for a couple of years now. I snapped a couple of little man too and check out the difference a year makes:

The theme this week is "we heart kisses". Very appropriate with Valentine's Day right around the corner!
I LOVE LOVE LOVE this picture I captured a few months ago during an engagement shoot. I asked my clients to pretend I wasn't there and just "be them". This was the very first picture I captured right at the beginning of the shoot....one of my favourites from last year for sure:

I heart Faces ~ My Story in Photos

This week at I Heart Faces, it's a non-judged week for everyone to share in photos, the places that they love.

Since I've become a photographer, I've been blessed with many things, one of them is I've been able to travel a lot more so I thought I'd share a few of those places.

2 years ago, I shot a destination wedding in Cuba and it turned out to be the first time my husband and I have ever flown anywhere together (as a matter of fact, it was the first time my husband flew AT ALL). We had an amazing time with friends and family, here's a couple of shots from that trip:























My next favourite place would have to be Hawaii. Not long after I returned from Cuba, I went on a pleasure cruise to one of the most beautiful places on earth:




























Next up is Pittsburgh. My husband has been a Pittsburgh Fan for over 12 years and I've LEARNED to love them too LOL. Seriously though, we had a blast when we finally got a chance to visit Pittsburgh 2 years ago, what a great city:
















And the next place doesn't really need explanation but I love going with the family to Disney! I LOVE seeing the looks on my kids faces when we're there! Actually, I'm not sure who's more excited when we go, myself or the kids!
