Busier Than Ever!

Just when I thought things couldn't possibly get any busier...they have! Please forgive the short post, but I'll make up for it with lots of pics...these are just from the past week:

Trash the Dress Marathon

Wow, what an incredible day of shooting 3 amazing ladies who were not afraid to get down and dirty AND wet!! Take one amazing location, 3 former brides, a lot of courage and 2 photogs and an awesome helper and you get this:

Belinda & Dan ~ Married

Oh the stories I could tell.....LOL
Belinda & Dan's engagement last fall was unlike any I've ever done before. Why?? Well because we've never managed to LOSE THE ENGAGEMENT RING during a play leaf fight!! Thankfully, the ring was found (but a few hours later) and all was then ok.
Fast forward to the wedding this past weekend and that darn ring still gave us a hard time! The ring was dropped onto the floor, the table, a vase full of flowers and then during the ceremony, the ring exchange happened a little late but it did happen and Belinda & Dan were finally husband and wife!
The reception was a blast with MANY memorable moments, some of which aren't necessarily rated PG so I'll keep them to myself :) I will however share some pictures with you all that really do tell some stories.
Before the pictures though, I just want to remind everyone, as Dan & Belinda truly believe and live by, "Life is GOOD"

I Heart Faces Week 25

Wedding Bells!

With 33 weddings this year and just about half of them done so far, it was easy, yet a bit difficult too to choose a picture for this weeks theme. Since I "feel" my work more than I "see" it, I went with a photo that makes me feel something. I feel that this picture doesn't need any explanation at all, you can see and feel the bride and groom's emotions which are written all over their faces and obvious in their body language too...

As a surprise for her parents 50th anniversary, one of my clients wanted to get together after church with her siblings and their children, and have some family portraits taken. This beautiful family rocks the camera and here's some of what I grabbed earlier today:

Back At It....

After a week of no shooting (but lots of editting), Traci and I were back at it yesterday and shot a beautiful wedding at Chippawa Park. It was a gorgeous day weather wise and the bride and groom and entire wedding party were a blast to work with. Here's some of what we got:
