Trash the Dress 2012

Otherwise known as "rock the dress", this was my 3rd annual event. This kind of session is always a ton of fun, and starts with hair and make up in the morning, done by the fabulous Meagan of Enchantment Make Up Artistry...then I went and picked up the bouquets from Forget-Me-Knot Flowers and beautiful hair pieces by Frilly Bits!

We had planned 2 locations, but 2 quickly turned into 4 as we were driving and came upon a beautiful sunflower patch as well as a gorgeous field of hay bales and stunning blue sky.

Lauren & Andrew, she said yes!

Another beautiful night, another beautiful couple (and their sweet pup Charlee).

We headed down to Port Dalhousie the other night for this session and as usual lately, it was a perfect night to be out there. Port is one of my favourite places to shoot because not only is it pretty, there's so many different locations to use in this area!

Lauren & Andrew will be married next spring and I can't wait for their big day!

 

Sweet Damon, 7 days new!

This little guy made it obvious from the get go that I was on HIS terms for his newborn shoot. That worked for me however because I enjoy a challenge!

Damon is the 3rd little boy in his family and I have the feeling he's gonna be the "bruiser" of the family :)

Michelle & Jon, expecting!

Seems to be a "baby boom" around here lately and I couldn't be happier :)

Michelle & John expressed that they wanted a few "studio" maternity shots, as well as some outdoors ones. We couldn't have picked a more beautiful evening for our session! I chose Chippawa Park for the outdoor portion of the shoot and really, I could have stayed there and shot all night...

Peter & Dalia, she said yes! ~ Niagara engagement photographer

I wasn't sure if today's engagement session was going to happen today as the weather wasn't looking so great....we went back and forth all day as to whether or not we would give it a shot and finally decided that we would. I'm SO glad we did!

Pete & Dalia took me out to a place I'd never been before. I LOVE when my couples put a lot of thought into location for their engagement shoot, especially when the location helps to "tell their story".

This sweet couple love to cook together and weren't shy about the fact that they like their wine too ;) Check out some of the shots we got this evening:

   

Sweet Carys, 7 days new ~ Niagara Newborn Photographer

This beautiful little girl's arrival was much anticipated by everyone, myself included. Her sweet parents are long time clients of mine, and her big brother was one of my "bellies to babies package" munchkins. 

Carys was a dream baby to photograph and big brother Charlie even let us take a few family pictures too!

Aislin & Rob, She Said Yes! ~ Niagara Engagement Photographer

Aislin, Rob, & their fur-baby Morgan, met up with me and my daughter Alex at Balls Falls last week for an engagement shoot. I brought Alex along specifically so she could help keep an eye on the puppy while I worked with just her Mom & Dad ;)

Morgan proved to be a playful, fun pup, who clearly loves her parents....we found it a little tough to keep her out of the pics actually, she was pulling Alex around, trying to get to them LOL.

In the end though, we managed to get some great shots all around and here's a sneak at them:
