Over the years, I've worked with some pretty amazing prop vendors and the shops (and their owners) that I purchase maternity gowns from are no exception. I rounded up some beautiful Moms today, they braved the crazy cold with me, and we got some nice images for the Moms as well as 2 of my favourite vendors:

Hello February!

Seems like Christmas was just yesterday and here we are, into February already! And although it's been a colder than usual winter in these parts, the studio has been kept warm with some fun sessions the past few weeks. Check them out ;)

This adorable little man was born just 4 days before Christmas last week....could you even imagine a more perfect gift???

   

Carolyn & Jonathon, expecting!

Carolyn contacted me a few weeks ago to let me know that she was expecting and how she hoping that we could do a maternity shoot in the snow. With the lack of "winter" weather this year, I wasn't so sure we would be able to make that happen but as luck would have it, we got quite a wallop of snow just the other day :)

Earlier this evening, my daughter and I met up with Kelly & Brent, who are expecting their first little one next month. They are keeping the gender of the baby a surprise which I think is fantastic! They had asked if their sweet dogs could be in a few photos and of course I agreed ;) While I'm more of a cat lover, I still have a soft spot for dogs too.

Check out some of the photos we got tonight...it was a beautiful evening, and I can't wait to meet their little one in just a few weeks!

   

Michelle & Jon, expecting!

Seems to be a "baby boom" around here lately and I couldn't be happier :)

Michelle & John expressed that they wanted a few "studio" maternity shots, as well as some outdoors ones. We couldn't have picked a more beautiful evening for our session! I chose Chippawa Park for the outdoor portion of the shoot and really, I could have stayed there and shot all night...
