With this awful weather we've been having, I was a bit nervous about this year's first official outdoor engagement shoot. It's the middle of May and we have yet to truly have a run of spring-like weather!
I met up with Greg & Sarah in beautiful Niagara on the Lake today and watched as the dark clouds came in. Sure enough, just as I pulled into town, the rain slowly started. I tried to make some quick arrangements to shoot indoors if necessary, but none of those were panning out :(
We had just taken a few quick pictures near a gorgeous blossoming tree when it started to POUR. Greg, Sarah & I bee-lined it to the van and knew we had some decisions to make. We decided to drive around a bit and see if the weather would get any better. We weren't really holding our breaths though...
Not ten minutes later, blue sky appeared and suddenly, it looked and felt like a GORGEOUS spring day! I'm so thankful we waited it out and it's SO NICE to see such gorgeous colours in my photos again :)

Thank you Stacy so much for an amazing experience around Niagara on The Lake yesterday afternoon. After a little weather scare, we couldn't have asked for a better day and a better time! We absolutely love the pictures and have received many nice comments on a number of the shots. We're soooooo looking forward to working with you on the day of the wedding, and can't wait to see some of the magical shots that you're able to create. Thanks again, you're the best!
