What do the things mentioned in the title of this blog post all have in common? One AWESOME family who likes to do things a little bit "outside the box" which as a creative, makes my heart happy!
4 years ago, I was asked to capture the wedding of Dave & Ashley Forget....fast forward to this past weekend, we culminated what started as a business relationship ( and is now much more than that), into an epic 1st birthday cake smash session which had a "Walking Dead" theme.
With the help of Just One More Bite Custom Cakes, Little Diva n Dudes and Photo Prop Floors & Backdrops, the cake smash can only be described as awesome :) It was so much fun, no babies were hurt in the process and this sweet family, little girl, and myself all have an amazing event to look back on one day when Harley, the star of the show, is a bit older.
Below you'll find photos from 4 ish years ago, leading up until this past weekend. It shows one of my very favourite parts of my job which is being asked over and over to be a part of and capture some of the most memorable times in people's lives. It's all very humbling and very exciting.
