This beautiful family are not only clients of mine but dear friends. I know I've mentioned it before but Michelle & I met because she was the winner of my very first facebook contest where the winner got a free family shoot. We've been attached at the hip ever since that day and this is truly one of the best parts of my job. It's so rewarding to have such an amazing rapport with so many different people and families, especially with the Marr's.

Now onto this year's captures. Mataya and Westen especially have come leaps and bounds in "liking" me enough and trusting me enough to really work with me. Can't tell you how beautiful it is for me to see that I was able to capture some true, genuine smiles for probably the very first time :)
AND, check out this shot that my sweet daughter captured! Alex has been in photography camp all week and is obviously learning very quickly. I see her passion for photography emerging and it makes my heart smile :)
