This tiny little peanut may be small but she is mighty! She was also full of poop the day of our session and felt that my hand was the best place to let go, not once, not twice, but 3 times LOL. I still managed to get some great shots of her in between though, check out how adorable she is!

This big little man is named after his "Grumpy" who is watching him from Heaven. It was amazing to see how many smiles he gave me, especially when I laid him on Grumpy's memory quilt.

This dark haired beauty was an absolute angel in the studio. We didn't hear a peep out of her until the session was over.

Oakley, 19 days new

It had been awhile since I had a boy in the studio so I was thrilled to have Oakley in today. Check out all that chunk! Just love those sweet cheeks on him.

Another Bellies to Babies Package Complete

Just over a year ago, I watched and captured this beautiful little boy come into the world. Exactly a year after his newborn session was completed, he was back in the studio today for his cake smash/birthday celebration session. It's so bittersweet when one of my sweet little clients finishes up with the package but if I know this family as well as I think I do, they'll be back for some spring or fall mini session photos at the very least ;)

Special thanks to Just One More Bite Custom Cakes for another perfect cake to smash!

Hello! It's been quite awhile since I last blogged but I miss it and have taken note that at least some of my clients do too so I'm back! I can't promise to blog every session individually but will for sure do my best to blog as much as I can.

I'd like to start out by introducing you to Miss Lily...my very first newborn of 2018. She's extra special to our family because she is the little girl of our daughter's best friend. She played the part of diva today during her session very well but we still managed to get some really cute stuff. Check it out:

Mentoring session with Sicabelle Photography

Last week, I had the pleasure of having Jessica from Sicabelle Photography in for a mentoring session.

Our little model definitely showed a bit of a "diva" side with not exactly just "doing" what we wanted him too, but it also provided the perfect opportunity to show what can be done to help make a session go smoothly, even when the baby has other ideas ;)

Here's some of the shots we grabbed that day. Thanks so much Jessica for joining me in the studio and I'm looking forward to seeing what you do with what you learned!

Miss Parker came into the studio the other day and couldn't have been a better little model for us! Just look at how gorgeous she is:

2015 sessions, January entry

So, for 2015, I'm hoping to be able to do at least a monthly review blog post which will highlight some of my fave pics from that month's sessions. Here's the January edition!
