My 3rd year anniversary is coming up in June and as usual, I'm going to be doing some giveaways to celebrate. For 3 years in business, this time around, I'm going to be giving away 3, 100.00 gift certificates! In order to win one of the certificates, I'm going to start one of my referral contests this Sunday, May 16.
In order to participate and have a chance at winning, all you have to do is invite as many people as possible to this my facebook group. To do that, simply click on "invite people to join" under the group's profile picture. The people that you invite and in turn join the group, must post on the wall that they were in fact invited by you. This is the only way for me to know who is inviting who so make sure to let the people you're inviting know to do this. The new members that do join then will have an opportunity themselves to begin participating in the referral contest, giving them their own chance at winning too. The contest will run from May 16 (at midnight EST) - June 2nd (at 11:59 pm EST), with the top 3 refer-ers being announced on June 3. The top 3 will all win themselves a 100.00 gift certificate! Any referrals made before May 16 2010 will not count and the certificates will have no monetary value.
Lastly, I will be holding a trash the dress marathon the weekend of July 17-18th at an amazing, but undisclosed location. I will be booking the 18th to start and will only open up the sessions to the 17th as well if there's enough demand. These sessions will include hair and make-up, transportation to the location, a 1-3 hour shoot (depending on time constraints), a disc of images from the shoot w/copyright release and a 5X7 photo book. Price is tbd and will depend on demand. Right now, anyone interested, please let me know and I will begin a list of potential girls, serious inquiries only please as the cost will be based on the number of people participating. I'll take names of those at least interested until June 1st or so then come up with the cost and open it up to those who want to go ahead with it. The more interest, the less it will cost everyone so tell your friends and I guarantee you an amazing time with some killer images in the end. Right now, there looks to be between 2 and 4 photographers, including myself in on this and the location is truly beautiful and unique. So anyone who knows me well knows I have a love/hate relationship with props. I LOVE what they can do for a photo and how adorable they are to use but HATE that I spend WAY TOO MUCH money on them! LOL. Mind you, sometimes I'm lucky enough to get things sent to me to photograph to use as samples on other websites and today was one of those days. Check out the super cute props and kiddos below! The headbands and hat are courtesy of Stacy at The Girlie Girl Bowtique and her stuff is soooo well made and obviously adorable! I just love how the skinny headband is perfect for a sweet newborn while totally hip and fashionable for my tween! And one band fit both girls!
After the chaos of my trip to Mexico, I really needed to get back home and be with my husband and babies. We went out for a drive along the lake and although I was and am really sick, I took a few moments along the way to snap some pictures of what is most important to me in my life.
