2 Sweet Girls ~ Niagara Wedding and Lifestyle Photography

How many people out there can say they LOVE their jobs? While it's definitely hard work, taking pictures and capturing moments in people's lives is so rewarding and so satisfying...I really do love what I do!
On days like today where I get to play with, dress up, and photograph two super smiley, beautiful little girls, I realize just how lucky I am to be one of the rare people who doesn't mind "going in to work" each day :) Check out these cuties!!!

New Props ~ Niagara Wedding & Lifestyle Photography

So anyone who knows me well knows I have a love/hate relationship with props. I LOVE what they can do for a photo and how adorable they are to use but HATE that I spend WAY TOO MUCH money on them! LOL. Mind you, sometimes I'm lucky enough to get things sent to me to photograph to use as samples on other websites and today was one of those days. Check out the super cute props and kiddos below! The headbands and hat are courtesy of Stacy at The Girlie Girl Bowtique and her stuff is soooo well made and obviously adorable! I just love how the skinny headband is perfect for a sweet newborn while totally hip and fashionable for my tween! And one band fit both girls!

I Heart Faces ~ Angles

It's been a couple of weeks since I entered because of a recent trip to Mexico. I'm happy to be back in the swing of things and LOVE this week's theme. I've been known to use angles in my photography a lot, I love how the right angle can make even the most everyday kind of picture unique.
My entry was taken last week during my trip and I had visualized how I wanted it to look from the minute I saw the stairwells at the resort we were staying at. I LOVE how it turned out:

Make sure to head over to I Heart Faces to check out all the other cool angles!

Home Sweet Home ~ Niagara Wedding and Lifestyle Photographer

After the chaos of my trip to Mexico, I really needed to get back home and be with my husband and babies. We went out for a drive along the lake and although I was and am really sick, I took a few moments along the way to snap some pictures of what is most important to me in my life. These moments truly make my heart smile:

Cabo San Lucas Mexico ~ Niagara Wedding, Destination & Lifestyle Photographer

I have so many things to tell after my recent trip to Mexico with a fellow photog but I'll mostly let some of the pictures do the talking. I must say though, after my experience, it really is too bad that such a majestic place can actually be really ugly :( I will share a link at the end of this post that I hope you will read and share. It's my hope that no one else will ever have to experience what I did while in Cabos...
I also have to say though, that the wedding I experienced there was one of the most beautiful and sincere unions I have every witnessed and no matter what happened or happens, I don't regret being a part of this amazing event. Thanks so much to my friend and fellow photog Charity Swords for allowing me to hang out with her on this trip and a huge thanks to the bride and groom for welcoming me as well:

Little Man N ~ Niagara Wedding and Lifestyle Photography

This little man was a ball of energy! At 18 months old, I was definitely expecting it :) He kept his Mommy, my daughter Alex and Me VERY busy with his adorable and many expressions and antics and I'm so glad I got the opportunity to work with N and his Mommy today! Here's some of what we got:

TJ is 1! ~ Niagara Wedding and Lifestyle Photography

It simply amazes me, and saddens me sometimes, to realize just how quickly time can fly by. Seems like in the blink of an eye, a year has passed. This happened just this past weekend when I went out to shoot and celebrate Tyson's 1st birthday party!
It seems not long ago, I was capturing his Mom and Dad's wedding:

Then Mom's beautiful baby bump:

Then there came TJ:
